Exceed SCITT, in collaboration with Leeds City Council, is able to offer the Teaching Apprenticeship for employees currently working in the Primary Sector. See below for further information for both Employers and potential Teaching Apprentices.
Interested? Here are the steps required for application to the Teaching Apprenticeship.
Step 1: We need to ensure the employer is eligible for funding through Employer Levy Funds
Step 2: A meeting with the employing school to ensure awareness of the demands for both on and off the job training. At this meeting we will share the ‘Partnership Agreement’. This will ensure all parties are fully aware of the training and assessment requirements.
Step 3: The Applicant will be invited to make an application through UCAS. If the application is successful then the applicant will be invited to interview. The invite will include all the information about the interview process.
Step 4: If successful at interview their will be a meeting with both the employer and Teaching Apprentice where the training requirements will be finalised and an ‘Apprentice Commitment Statement’ agreed. This will allow for the Teaching Apprentice’s prior experience to be considered.
