School-to-school support: 2016-2018

Where Exceed Teaching Schools have directly provided school-to-school support between 2016 and 2018:

  • The KS2 Reading, Writing and Maths combined measure at expected standard increased from an average of 39.2% in 2016 to 55.9% in 2018, an improvement of 17 percentage points compared to 11 percentage points nationally
  • The KS2 Reading, a key focus of our support, measure at expected standard increased from an average of 50.2% in 2016 to 66.6% in 2018, an improvement of 16.4 percentage points compared to 9 percentage points nationally

Teaching Schools’ formal partnership schools (Bradford schools only)

Exceed Teaching Schools supports its formal partners’ needs first and foremost. Between 2016 and 2018:

  • The KS2 Reading, Writing and Maths combined measure at expected standard increased from an average of 49.8% in 2016 to 69.5% in 2018, an improvement of 19.7 percentage points compared to 11 percentage points nationally
  • The KS2 Reading, a key focus of our support, measure at expected standard increased from an average of 59.4% in 2016 to 67.8% in 2018, an improvement of 17.4 percentage points compared to 9 percentage points nationally

ITT partner schools (Bradford schools only)

  • The KS2 Reading, Writing and Maths combined measure at expected standard increased from an average of 58.7% in 2016 to 75.9% in 2018, an improvement of 16.2 percentage points compared to 11 percentage points nationally
