Pupil Premium Review
Exceed Teaching Schools Alliance, Bradford is able to provide primary and secondary school Pupil Premium Reviews. To undertake this, we follow the national guidance for Pupil Premium Reviews, available here.
We’d ask the school to provide a self-evaluation at least two-weeks in advance of the first visit to support our preparation. A blank primary self-evaluation template is available from the link, above (you can removed the guidance information easily by selecting it and deleting). We will undertake this based on the school’s documentation hosted on its website in line with national expectations. The Pupil Premium Review Framework on page 11 of the guidance provides a useful summary of the process. The ‘analysis and challenge’ section of the Review will be integrated into the process, making the Review a two and a half day activity for Christabel.
Where possible/timetables allow, we would like to include the following during a full day in school:
- A meeting with the Headteacher to explore the strategies already in place to narrow the gap and the school’s evaluation of the impact of these strategies
- A tour of the school
- The opportunity to observe teaching and learning, with a particular focus on quality first teaching as well as any interventions aimed at children eligible for the Pupil Premium
- Meetings with: the Chair of the Governing Body or the Governor responsible for the Pupil Premium; the English and Maths leaders; SENCo; and a selection of parents/carers of children eligible for the Pupil Premium from different year groups
A half day review after 2-6 months is encouraged. We’d be happy to provide this at an additional cost.
£1750 plus VAT.
The process takes two and a half days. Half a day of preparation before visiting your school; a full day of meetings and observations; half a day reflection; and half a day action planning with a senior leader.
Please email email@example.com with your preferred dates (two consecutive days preferred).
