This session aims to familiarise teaching assistants (TAs) with some of the challenges that learners using EAL might face when learning English and learning through English at the same time.

The session introduces practical, easy to use strategies for supporting learners using EAL to develop the language skills they need to access the curriculum and fulfil their potential.
